Monte-Jean - A Stroke Recovery

How do I even begin to express my gratitude to someone who played such a pivotal role in saving my life? It all began one night in early September 2023 when I experienced an acute ischemic left frontal stroke, leading to a three-day hospital stay. On the fourth day, I followed the recommendation of trusted friends and sought treatment at The Treigning Lab in Placentia. Their hyperbaric chamber offered a glimmer of hope amidst the uncertainty.

Following approximately 10 sessions, my progress was nothing short of remarkable, catching even my neurologist by surprise during our follow-up appointment. This experience prompted me to question why hyperbaric treatment isn’t more widely embraced in our healthcare system, especially given its success in Europe.

As a retired flight attendant, I’ve long understood the importance of prioritizing self-care to better care for others—a lesson emphasized by my journey to recovery. I cannot be the help to my family and friends without my full cognitive abilities, total mobility, and leading the best possible life to share my recollections. And perhaps be an encouragement for others with this story.

The team at The Treigning Lab quickly became more than just healthcare providers; they became my champions, offering unwavering support and guidance throughout my recovery process. Their expertise and compassion have truly made a difference in my life, and I am forever grateful. For anyone facing a similar journey, I wholeheartedly recommend seeking out their support. With their help, you too can navigate life’s challenges with strength and resilience!
